1. Overview
24siteshop distributes certain WordPress plugins, themes, and other software items as GPL (GNU General Public License) redistributions. This page explains what that means for you as a buyer, and clarifies what is and is not included when you purchase a GPL product from 24siteshop.

2. What is GPL (short)
The GNU General Public License (GPL) is a widely used free-software license that permits copying, redistribution, and modification of covered program source code. Many WordPress plugins and themes are released under the GPL or a GPL-compatible license.
Key GPL freedoms include:
- The right to use the software for any purpose.
- The right to access and modify the source code.
- The right to redistribute original or modified versions under the same license.
3. What 24siteshop sells
- We sell redistributions of GPL-licensed code (plugins, themes, add-ons). Our product packages contain the GPL-licensed files (PHP, JS, CSS, templates, etc.) that enable the software to run.
- We do not claim to be the original software author or the official vendor. Our listings are redistributions only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. What is NOT included
When you purchase a GPL product from 24siteshop, please note the following items are generally not included unless explicitly stated on the product page:
- Official license keys, activation codes, or subscription access provided only by the original developer/vendor.
- Official updates or automatic update services from the original vendor (you may still receive the redistributed files we provide).
- Official vendor support — we are not the product’s original author and do not provide official vendor support unless we state otherwise.
- Trademarks, logos, and brand assets — these remain the property of their owners. Use of the brand name on our product page is for compatibility/identification only.
5. Support & Warranty
- We may provide basic installation guidance or limited support for our redistributed packages, but this is not the same as official developer/vendor support. If you need official support, please contact the original developer (link provided on product page where available).
- All items are provided “as is.” Where applicable, the GPL disclaims warranties; 24siteshop limits its liability as described in our Terms of Service.
6. Buyer rights & permitted use
After purchase, you may (under GPL terms):
- Use the software on any number of sites (subject to the GPL and any additional terms included in the package).
- Modify the source code for your needs.
- Redistribute the code (including modifications) under the same GPL license.
If the product package contains non-GPL assets (rare and always declared), those assets will be explicitly listed on the product page with their licensing terms.
7. Trademarks, Brand Names & Compatibility Statements
- We may list a product name or say “Compatible with [Brand/Product]” to indicate what the item works with. This is purely informational and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with the trademark owner.
- Trademarks, logos, and brand identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. If you are a rights-holder and wish us to remove or correct a brand reference, please contact us at contact@24siteshop.com (subject: LEGAL / TRADEMARK) and provide proof of ownership and the requested action. We respond to legal requests promptly.
How we label product pages
Each product page will clearly state:
- Whether the product is a GPL redistribution.
- Any exceptions (non-GPL assets) with explicit licensing notes.
- A link to the original developer’s website for official support (when available).
- Contact details for licensing or legal questions.
Rights-holder requests & takedown handling
If you are a rights holder and have concerns about a product listing (trademark misuse, copyrighted assets included without permission, etc.), please use our Legal / Abuse Contact page or send an email to contact@24siteshop.com with the subject LEGAL / TRADEMARK or LEGAL / DMCA. See our DMCA / Copyright Policy for submission templates and response timelines.
We will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
- Investigate and take appropriate action (remove or correct listing) when warranted.
- Provide proof of action on request (screenshots, timestamps, logs).
Refunds related to licensing issues
